Due to high interest and limited seating, we are adding a second “Stories That Heal” event.

This will be a repeat presentation of the same program, giving more members of the community the opportunity to attend, listen, share, and be part of the conversation.

Join BACE – Bulgarian Arts & Cultural Exchange for a special community evening dedicated to storytelling, dialogue, belonging, and connection.

Through reading, short video storytelling, and open conversation, we will explore personal stories of identity, resilience, prejudice, finding home, starting over, and building bridges between communities. The evening will highlight stories that reflect the Bulgarian-American experience in Illinois while opening space for broader conversations about empathy, cultural understanding, and healing through dialogue.

A conversation about how shared stories, listening, and dialogue can help neighbors build trust, understanding, and stronger communities.
