About the Event
Join Us for the Fourth Parade of Bulgaria and Annual Community Gathering!
Everyone is welcome throughout the day to feel the Bulgarian spirit, reconnect with friends and acquaintances, and enjoy a rich cultural and musical program. The celebration will take place on May 18th, 2025, from 12 PM to 6 PM, starting at Entrance #29—the same beloved location.
On stage, enjoy songs and dances from the children of Bulgarian schools, folklore performances, DJ Mati, and fun family games with exciting prizes. Kids will love the inflatable castle and other attractions, while adults can enjoy the festivities and surprises throughout the day.
This year, we welcome special guests from Bulgaria—actors Kamen Vodenicharov and Toncho Tokmakchiev, who will entertain the audience with their signature humor and charm.
Delicious food and drinks will be provided by the organizers and the Bulgarian Orthodox Church “St. Sofia.” This joyful event is made possible with the generous support of Bulgarian businesses in Chicago.

5.5 Food and Drinks Stations with dedicated staff. No queues. 100% of the food proceeds will be used to cover the mortgage payments of The Bulgarian Orthodox Church “St. Sofia”
No outside food or beverages are allowed.

Be Part of the Parade of Bulgaria — As a Vendor or Event Helper!
As part of the Fourth Parade of Bulgaria and Community Gathering, we are excited to feature a Crafts and Handmade Bazaar! If you create handmade Bulgarian products or unique crafts and would like to showcase or sell them at the event, you are welcome to apply!
There is NO FEE to participate — this is a great opportunity to present your work and connect with the community.
We are also looking for additional help on the day of the event, both for:
Full-day work, or
Part-time help (split shift) – approximately 2 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the evening.
If you’re reliable, enthusiastic, and want to contribute to this special day, we would love to have you on board!
